Continent

There is dear reader a misnomer in this world . The people labour under the misperception that all religions of the world are striving towards the same goal and ultimately will teach the same thing. Yet any cursory look at this will show that the starting points of most religions are so radically different from one another that they cannot be comparable.
The Problem people face, is this, we think that even though one person catches a train. Another rides a bike , and the third decides to walk they will eventually, given enough time, end up in the same destination. Regardless of where they started from. The problem with this is that we have failed to realise these three travellers are on completely different continents, from one another. These continents are completely unconnected, and in fact, are separated from one another. Thus, no amount of travel by train by a bike or by walking would allow them to cross the ocean, which separates them all. They could travel for a lifetime by their mode of choice, and still end up nowhere close to one another.
The same is true for religion, but instead of a train, bike or walking. We have pantheism polytheism and monotheism
Our first type of religion is called pantheism it speaks of a divine being, which permeates the whole in which we all participate, this thought encapsulates Hinduism or what has become known as the new-age movement.
Our second group is polytheism, which sees the divine as being contained in nature itself. This divine manifests itself in multiple forces, each of which has its own particular individuality and should be worshipped for itself. We see in ancient history of the Romans worshipped the sun and the moon as divine beings. In present-day thought many people worship the earth, Gaia as a living God.
The final group is monotheism, this group believes in a single deity, which although responsible for the creation of all around us, is separate and transcends its creation. Judaism and Islam and Christianity all hold to this.
So, dear reader, I hope you realise your final destination can sometimes be massively influenced by a starting point and your chosen mode of transport.
So my question today, dear reader, is this, which continent are you on?
